We build apps for Confluence, so having a strong brand identity isn’t just a nice-to-have. It’s part of who we are. Externally, it helps us stand out. Internally, it’s how we stay connected as a team. Sharing updates isn’t just a process for us; it’s a way to celebrate wins, share ideas, and keep our culture alive. That’s why we wanted our internal visual identity to reflect:

- Our visual style – clean, colorful, consistent
- Our content types – product updates, team highlights, customer insights, ideas
They felt generic and disconnected from who we are as a team - plain text pages, not enough images, no brand colors. The main problem is that there just wasn’t enough of our brand personality we bring into our work.
✨ The Solution: Using Lively Blogs to Build an Internal News Hub
We decided to use Lively Blogs, one of our own apps, born from our love of blogging. We weren’t just looking to “fix” a blog; we wanted to create a place that felt inspiring to read and exciting to write for. It truly turned out to be exactly what we imagined.
